goodbye summer, hello grenfell high
oh how the time flys! it seemed like just yesterday that i was looking forward to a whole two months of holidays... and yet somehow, oddly enough, school starts tommorrow! cripes! its not like i really hate school and dont wanna be there or anything but.... wait a minute... yes it is! i would be totally okay with never attending school again, other than the fact that i would grow up being a bum and probably living off my parents till i was nearing the age of 45 (cough cough sound like anyone you know around here).... so in that case, i am willing to suck it up and get through 20 more months of school. it doesn't sound all that bad when you put it in "months" eh...
alright so onto bigger and better things. me and trisha finished up cleaning the school and doing last minute stuff on thursday. however, what we thought was gunna be a short day, ended up being quite long when my boss kept finding more and more stuff to do. oh well its all over now and if any stupid kids mess the place up i might just have to open up a can of you know what...... but anyways. on friday evening me and some friends decided it was time for a can-am run. ( for those of you who dont know exactly what i am talking about, the can-am (Petro Can) could be considered a rip off of the real thing..the ESSO! however, because the Esso closes at 10 pm we often find it in ourselves to drive the half an hour to whitewood to have some all night coffee at this 24-hour truck stop) on our way home however, after rolling down the window to get some air flow, we quickly realized that it would not go back up again. so there we were driving down the number 1 on a slightly chilly night at 2:00 in the morning freezing our nads off.
On saturday, it was Jen's birthday, so me and her and her parents went to the city (Regina), did some shopping, ate some chinese food, and then, my favorite, watched about 4 hours of the royal red! thats right you guessed it, it was none other than the 47th Annual National Arabian Championship Horse Show!! Let me just tell you that those were the longest 4 hours of my life. I mean, i like horses and all....but seeing them for about 5 minutes would have given me my fill for the day. anyways none the less, me and jen had a good time.
Now today, is my day of rest. i think i will have to go to bed at 7 in order to get up early enough for school tommorrow. for those of you who do not have to do the whole academic thing tommorrow... i envy you. but you might as well enjoy your day so that at least one of us does.
later days
