I Think I'm In Love!

Yup, if i could get married right now i totally would. There is only one problem. Paul Brandt is already married!! what an amazing man. me, jeni, brenda and melanie, drove the crappy assed number 35 highway to weyburn just so we could see paul. opening for him was some chick named heather dawn (who i havn't heard of before) and derrick ruttan...which some of you may know. he was pretty good but nothing compared to paul...
after an amazing show, he signed autographs and i totally got to touch him!!! yup heres me standing beside paul brandt with his arm around me for a picture. holy crap! yup totally in love. i gotta find a man like him.
anyways i gotta jet, but i will keep you updated with a picture of me and paul as soon as get my film developed!! i know you are all so jealous.

What the world really needs is a little more "DEAR" time.

what an aweful week. had about 3 tests in all kinds of lame subjects and i even had to go to school on friday!! cripes! this makes for a two day weekend, which would be mkay but i have to wake up and serve at a tea tommorrow at the church, which is also lame. man things just get from bad to worse.
we had youth tonight which was fun (finally something decent in my week). we played craploads of games to win ammo which we would then go out to a farm near town and blast dean, dave, and cavan with paintballs. (turkey shoot if you will, as it is a thanksgiving theme ; ) yes, for us small town hicks this is our "pretend" version of actual paintball. lame to you maybe, but way fun for us! then after youth me and brenda cruised but decided to call it a night when reed and a couple of other friends got stopped by the cops. what is the point in cruising if you cant speed and break all the rules!
now i realize that some of you may not no this, but you would be missing out if i did not tell you that next week is none other than National Education Week!! wicked fun! so we have all kinds of dumb things we get to do all week long. for example, my favorite. DEAR time! thats right its "Drop Everything And Read" time!! now i was also (as i am sure you are) peeing my pants when i heard we get to do this. they even play a little song over the intercom when its time to drop everything and read. it will bring me right back into grade 3. however, as much as i think it is horendously gay, reg pointed out to me today that it is better than DEADP time....
"Drop Everything And Do Physics"...it always helps to look at positive side of things.

dont laugh at me...because i write dumb, lame songs

so how many of you people have heard the song "dont laugh at me" by mark wills. ha ya well the name kind of gives all the details away right there. its a dumb song. i was listening to it the other day and realized you have to be quite a secure person not to feel like a total dumbass while singing it. i mean if your goal as a singer/songwriter is to get famous for cool songs, this wouldn't be one of my top picks. of course it holds good meaning....but man...extreme embarrasment..
anyways thats my rant for the moment. but i mean if you have a real bonding with that song, there is no hating here....

it is so past my bed time.

so me and melanie and brenda went to the can-am tonight. (on the new highway i might add...its finally through grenfell) got pulled over by the cops for speeding (we were only going like 120 on a double lane) and having our fog lights on. however melanie sweet talked her way out of a ticket. lol. when asked for her liscence she handed the cop her debit card, and i think he figured we were just a bunch of ditsy girls! too bad it wasn't the hot cop right girls!!
the rest of the day was jam packed. slept in until noon. i ate. and after a couple more hours of slacking i went for coffee with jeni and mary, the little chinese girl that jeni babysits, so cute. it was good times. i then spent the rest of the afternoon/evening cleaning the house.
the weather has been crappy and i am angry. it feels like winter, minus the snow. grrr
and now it is 1:30 in the morning and i drank so much coffee tonight that i dont expect to go to sleep for oh...a good couple of hours. so here i go finding something to do to make me sleepy!
