Singing my heart out!

Today was none other than our Easter Cantata preformances in Grenfell. The easter cantata is an easter musical put on by the churches in town. We had an afternoon preformance at the nursing home and an evening one at the church. They both went really well, and now I am super tired.
Brenda and I were both very skeptical about joining in the beginning, but we soon realized that it was very enjoyable. Who woulda thought that middle aged men who sing bass could be the funnest people to hang out with. It was a riot and I suggest joining up with the closest easter canatata near you next year, lol. Its totally a growing experience.
On a different note, I am very excited to say that there are only 4 more days of school until easter break. A whole week of being able to sleep in, man do I love the sound of that. I will be thinking of you when all you poor suckers have to work!

I'm out and off to bed,

Rider Pride

Well what do you know, its only been ooh about a month and a bit since I have talked to you last. Thats not so bad. The problem is that I live a boring life. I often think of stories that I could tell you, but most the time I am too lazy to actually do it or I figure you just plain wouldn't care. Thus the reason for the very long break.

But I might as well start telling you whats new and exciting in my life. Today was Rider Pride day at our school! GO RIDERS!! Therefore i rememebered to wear my green and white and show my team spirit. Also, we had the one and only Scott Schultz (a roughrider himself) come and do a little presentation to the high school.
I believe my brother in law would be quite proud, because as some of you may or may not know, they are kin. I was very tempted to go up to him and be like "Dude we are almost related", but I decided against this embarrasing introduction.

Can't you tell they are related!

However, this was not all the excitement I had today. Jenni and I also drove to Broadview to get some Criminal Checks done (lets hope it comes out clear eh). I am volunteering at the Grenfell Nursing Home and they wont let me in until they are sure I am not some kind of a psycho criminal. I totally feel like one of those geeks off the movies who volunteer, however, if nursing continues to be what I am looking at for a future job, than this is a good idea.

I have been keeping surprisingly busy and this week is bound to keep up that tradition, so I should be going. But I will try to keep you updated a little better this time! ; )
