Thats Miss Wagner to you...

Well...let me tell you how my day went yesterday.
I woke up early, just like any other thursday. However, this time when I arrived at the school, I jumped in a car and was on my way to Regina to Saskatchewan's Annual Community School Conference, with some of the staff from the school. Not only was I the only non-teacher there, but I was probably one of the very few people under 30. Grenfell School had to do a presentation, and I had to answer a few questions on how the community school effects students such as myself. Cripes I know.
There were a few perks to the day however
-I got a name tag, and felt important.
-I got to sit at a head table at the front of this massive classy conference room, once again, feeling important.
-Because we as a school presented, we each got a mug....yup, Kirby I know your getting jealous now.

So as much as I try to be optimistic about this one, the negatives definatly outweighed the positives. It was a brutal day spent with teachers at a completely different level than one is used too....never again.

I finished off the evening, with a little reformation day choir practice and watching "Here on Earth" with Brenda. Just another sappy movie, which leave you looking and feeling like hell. oh the good times.

Glow Bowling

The evening started out like usual, doing our thing, struttin our stuff while bowling.

Look guys, my balls are blue! hehe

The cheering crowds.

Jessie, doing some hot interpretive dancing.

Me and Brenda, sharing the love.

It was a good night. I only managed to get one strike, and I decided that bowling could go under that same list that golfing and football are under....stupid games which take way more skills than i have.

none the less, a good time.

ooo, thats gunna leave a mark.

Note to self: Never get close to Brenda when she decides to swing open her locker door (with much force I might add). It is very likely that the locker door will in fact smack you right in the forehead and leave an embarrasing bump on your head.

Choose your friends wisely. I blame all of my insanity on her!

Well Crap.

I've proven myself to be gayer than gay. Every single time I watch the video "Somebody's Hero" by Jamie O'Neal on CMT...I bawl.
I can't help it. I am such a sap. Then me and mom started talking about the video at lunch today...and I started crying again, just freakin talking about it! cripes.
Check it out:

I can agree with this video...
My mommy is my hero!

Coffee Card Anyone??

Okay, I admit it! I am about as addicted to coffee as they come. I love it. I dont know that it is so much the coffee that sucked me in, or the atmosphere of drinking coffee while at the ESSO. It is litterally one of the only things we do in Grenfell as so many people know, and being at the Esso is like being at home.
You've got the old men who come in for farmer coffee at 7 in the morning (I've only done that once...and never again!), then you've got the day crowd of people who dont work and are trying to fill up their day. Finally you have the evening crowd (the crowd I know best). The table of greasy smelly farmers who sit and be-atch about the weather the whole time, the middle-age crisis women who have nothing better to do than stare and gossip about the whole town, the table of the 5-10 young adults left in this small prairie town, and finally....us, the coolest people around!
The waitresses feel like family members and if you go in often enough you can get some wicked deals on a cup of coffee, just because you're a regular.
Speaking of wicked deals, this might just be enough to make you pack your bags and relocate to the lovely land of Grenfell Saskatchewan!

Yeah baby! Two down, seven to go! If your nice, I may think about sharing that freebie...think about it.

Pantless

I was doing some strange kungfooing moves yesterday and put a whole in the crotch of my pants. I was near tears. They were by far my favorite pants I own. You know how you find those ones that fit perfectly and feel so good on? Those were them, and now they are goners. And it could take a while to get over this one....but then again, this just means I can go shopping for new ones. And I am all for that!
It also puts some cheer back into my life, knowing that I now have a 4 day weekend! I am freakin pumped. Mel, Devin, Jeni, Matt, Jenna, and Kelsey are all coming back for thanksgiving so it will be a good time had by all!

Oh Margie!

So the adventure began when Brenda and I sat down and listened to the song "Mandy" sung by Westlife (the Backstreetboy wannabe's, that only made it to the YTV Hitlist)

Oh Mandy well, you came and you gave without taking, but I sent you away. Oh, Mandy well, you kissed me and stopped me from shaking, and I need you today. Oh, Mandy!

Brenda recognized the song and said she had heard it before. So I wanted to share with you what I found out...

1. Barry Manilow was the original singer of this song, who would have thought! Good old Barry, what a guy.

2. This song is also sung by another well known artist, you may have heard this different version on a television near you.

Homer: Oh Margie, you came and you found me a turkey,On my vacation away from workie...

Homer: Oh Mindy, you came and you gave without flaking, But I sent you Ben-gay,Oh Andy,
you kissed me and stopped me from something, And I...

And just think, it only took Brenda and I about 1/2 an hour searching on the net to find out this very simple information. I feel smarter because of it, as do you now that you have heard.

Oh Margie!
Download the song and listen to it. Its gay yet enjoyable.
