Packing
Well, I take off on Friday and I've made up my mind...packing is officially the devil. I hate it with a passion. It is especially difficult this time, because after dropping me off in Calgary, mom and dad are going onto Oliver where dad is going to need his golf clubs and all of their own luggage. And because the van is such a gas guzzler...we have to squeeze into the car. I'm not totally sure how its going to happen...I am anything but a light packer. We'll see.
Its hard to believe time has gone so fast and its actually time to move! I'm excited for something new, sad to leave everything and everyone back home, and slightly nervous all at the same time. I mean, the U of C itselt is only 27 times larger than my home town....but whats to worry about right?....right?....
None the less...it will be one heck of an adventure for this small town prairie girl! I'll let you know how the move goes!

wang... if i can make it in ottawa and not die, then i'm sure you'll do fine in calgary... frick... today, i walked downtown at like 7 in the morning, then back home, then around the campus and then back downtown... it was a riot... and then tomorrow, there's lotsa crap to do... but definately do the orientation stuff, cuz it's the best!!!
