Google Fun.

Some of you may have recieved the e-mail describing this retarded way to waste some time in your boring day. Brenda and I sure did...and boy did we waste time.
This is how it works. Go to google, type in your name+needs (ex. Brenda+needs) You then read the website captions that appear and see what kind of goodness they hold for you. The idea is to fill in your name and continue the e-mail going around to see how many different ones you can get. B and I tried quite a few names and ended up pissing our pants with some of them.
-Brenda needs your help!
-Hailey needs housing rules.
-Leighton needs a heart transplant to survive.
-Richard needs his medication.
-Regan needs a caring and loving family to take her home.
-Kirby needs a hug (haha one of my personal favorites)
-Mike needs a date
-Jason needs to shutup

lol good times. check out your own name and find out what your true needs are. And if you're really bored..it was also fun to try it with +likes instead of +needs.

*Hey kirby why dont we work on that date for mike* hehe

The list theory.

I am a list person. I need lists to survive through my days. They are the answer to everything. Whether it's a grocery list, a household chore list, a 10 things i hate about you list..(okay i'm that much of a hater), or just the general 'things i need to get done today' list...they always come in handy. Brenda often makes fun of me because I always have a list for some reason or another. I may have a horrible memory or be really dumb...but they help.
However, they are starting to have a reverse affect on me. I make this huge assed list of things i need to get done so I dont get stressed about forgeting something right...however, lately, the more i look at the list the more i realize 'oh crap its not getting shorter' and the more stressed i get.
My list right now is huge, and for most of the items on my list..there is very little ambition to get it all done.
What it all comes down to...I need a holiday, then i will not need to worry about my dreaded list.

They say that there is no rest for the wicked and the righteous dont need any. I must be wicked...cuz I'm keeping super super busy...and I am definatley needing my rest!

Its looking like a busy weekend too. Nicole is coming tonight and we'll all end up watching a movie or something i'm sure. I work my first morning shift tommorrow, and have to be there at 6:45...mornings do not work well with me, but we'll see how she goes. Tommorrow afternoon is Nicoles wedding ( a different nicole than the first one) and I am super pumped about that. I love weddings! Me and Brenda have to work the coffee bar at her reception so that will keep us busy. Then on sunday me and mel and nicole and brenda are headed to the city. Its about bloody time, I am in dire need of some shoes!
So all in all...its gunna continue to be busy times. Now i just need to make some time to do homework and clean up my room. But of course, I've got my priorities straight...so they'll have to wait till later...hehe.

I'm out!

Goodbye Max

My guinea pig died tonight. And to be truthful, tears were shed pretty much by the whole family. Yes, he was a rodent, but he had more personality than the regular rodent, and always felt more like a puppy. The little guy lived for almost 6 years and had totally become a part of the family. Max was very sweet and he will be missed.

A little relax time.

It was a crazy day at work. From 2:30 to 10:00 it was pretty much non-stop. I know what you're thinking...how busy can gas station restaurant in Grenfell be? But it was. I suppose that maybe more than busy, it was just hectic. We kept running out of stuff, and things were breaking left and right. It was pretty ridiculous. I got to a point where I just had to pause, breath deeply and say to myself "Okay Hailey...what the hell are you doing?" Then off I go on my merry old way again.
So anyways, now I've eaten and I have to wind down before I go to bed. But I'm going to do it all again tommorrow night and Sunday. Busy, Busy, Busy.

Anger Problems?

So it all started this past summer, when Marcus and I would pick random embarassing, cheesy pamphlets at each church we went to, and gave them to eachother for a good laugh.
Today I was surprised by a letter in the mail from Marcus himself which had inside it...wait for it...yes....a pamphlet! He felt that I could benefit from reading it.

It outlines the do's and dont's of handling your anger and contains these helpful words from a good friend of ours:

'You got to know when to hold 'em, know when to fold 'em, know when to walk away, know when to run.'

Now if anyone knows Kenny Rogers, its me...and I can agree that he most definatley is singing about anger management, as it is so clearly outlined in the title of the song 'The Gambler'...the Greek word for Gambler means 'dealing with your anger'. Take it to heart...Kenny knows all!

Now there is a happy man. I see no anger in him!

I dont know how I would get through life without an educational pamphlet every now and again...

Never Been Kissed

Me and Matt and Jen just finished watching Never Been Kissed. It's such a great chick flick! So romantic...with a super hot teacher! We need to hire new teachers at Grenfell High...

The ending is by far the best part of the movie, where he runs out into the baseball field to giving the girl her first ever real kiss....awwww.

However...one part does rub me the wrong way in this movie. He totally has a thing for her when she is acting as a 17 year old girl in his class. And while it seems okay because we all know that she's actually 25...he doesn't know that! Can you say molester!

None the less...great movie!

Buckley's is a daily occurence for me! I should totally send in my bad taste face!
I've been taking it so much that I'm getting used to the taste...darnit anyways.

Uh Oh.

As most of you know, Sooper B's Esso Restaurant is attatched to the Esso gas station. Yesterday, while waitressing, the table of farmers nearest to the window started laughing and yelled at everyone to come look out the window. We went over and saw some idiot was about to drive away from the gas pumps with the freakin nozzle still in his truck. He took off pretty fast, and the whole gas pump pretty much twisted around and ripped outa the ground. It was hilarious to watch the guys "oh shit" face as he got outa his truck and realized what he had done...
He walked into the esso and handed the nozzle to Nelson. While Nelson was phoning the boss, the guy took off. They got no liscence number, and they had forgot to put in the video tape in the morning.
It just so happened that the pump he took out was the one with all the electrical crap in it...which meant that none of the other pumps would work either.
It was not a happy day for the esso.

Tonights special....pork roast and barbecued dog...

I have second guessed whether or not I ever want pets of my own.
My parents were gone. So as usual I got the job of taking care of the house and animals. However...both the dog and the guinea pig are getting up there in age and require slightly more work than usual while caring for them.. Now when I say 'slightly' more work, I'm actually lying... I mean shitloads more work! These animals are getting royal treatment.
Emily wakes up about 6 times during the night to be let outside...She usually only stays outside for about 5 minutes...but at 2 in the morning, waiting for her feels like a hell of a lot longer! This all means that I get minimal sleep. (And for those of you who do not already realize this, Hailey does not function well without a proper sleep allotment.)
Neither the dog nor the pig can eat hard food anymore. Therefore, the most recent idea my crazy mother has come up with is feeding the guinea pig baby food (to be exact, pea flavour is his favorite...), and we also have to warm up all of the dog's food in hot water to soften it.
And of course, if the proper amount of attention is not being shown to the dog...she will in fact howl non-stop the whole week...
Sometimes I wonder who my parents love more...me or the animals...

My piece of advice for the day: stick with the goldfish...they are flushable!
