School again...

Easter holidays are officially over come tommorrow morning. What a depressing thought. However, there is just one last term of school left. Its hard to believe, grad in a month, one more month after that of hellish departmentals and studying, and than the end! Woohoo.
Easter holidays couldn't really be considered a "holiday" cuz i worked everyday except one. But it was still nice to get away from school for a bit. Now just one more kick of ambition and it's goodbye Grenfell High....

Pride & Prejudice

We watched Pride and Prejudice last night. It was one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. Of course I'm a sucker for anything romantic, but it really was a great movie. It's very rarely that you will find a good PG rated movie without any nastiness, but still a good love story, so it was very appreciated. I suggest all you romantics check it out! Hailey and Brenda give it two thumbs up.

Grenfell Ink

So Brenda and I dont usually buy lame teen magazines...however, we got suckered in this time. Who can say no to free tatoos! (although the word 'free' really means nothing because you're still paying out the ass for the $5 magazine)
Anyways, yes, we bought the magazine got a whole booklet of tatoos and the outcome of our spontanious buying....

Well that sucks.

Today was one of those days...where bad things just kept happening to Hailey.
A long time ago, before I knew what I was doing with my life next year, I applied for entrance awards at the University of Alberta. I got a letter today saying that I recieved $5000 from them, thats enough to cover my full tuition...but alas I am not going there so no money for me. What a kick in the pants...University of Calgary has some work to do to beat that one!
Then during spare, Richard and Jamie and I went on a snack run to the esso and bought a cappuccino. I was sitting in Biology sipping away at it...and it happened to slip out of my hands (dont ask how) and spill all over me....not a pretty picture.
Then, sitting in Physics last class of the day, Reed (that little bastard) set me up to sit beside him, and not realizing that there was the hugest nastiest gob of snot all over the table...I stuck my sleeve right in it. I know...how nasty...I yelled a few profanities at him, and gagged the whole way to the bathroom.
Tommorrow better be a damn good day.

How you know when your tardiness becomes a problem...

i am not a punctual person. I can admit that. I think I take advantage that I live two hops and a skip away from school. This could be the reason why I now have officially too many lates and have to go for a noon hour detention sometime within the next couple of weeks...
now of course mom gave me crap about the whole situation. but i can't help but shrug it off and laugh about the whole thing. Brenda just needs to get one more, and then we can serve out detention together...talk about good planning! When Wiley told me about it, she was as easygoing about the thing as i was...so really, how am i supposed to take this seriously...

the only really lame part about the whole thing is that we have to answer a bunch of questions and write out goals of how we plan on not being late anymore...me and Brenda are thinking of having a contest to see who can do the best bullshitting on it....we'll let you know who wins.

Just another night in the G town.

A tuesday night, would not be a tuesday night, if it didn't include cruising the streets of Grenfell in an Astro van eating a whole box of Chunks Ahoy Cookies and drinking a glass of homo milk, while trying to manuever the steering wheel at the same time...

Shall we make this a regular occurence B?

Oh good times. That is of course before your tummy realizes that you have just packed away 20 cookies and a huge glass of unormally thick milk...

Thongs!

I totally know what you just thought...and no you sicko...this blog is about shoes...
So I love spring for many reasons. One of them being that I get to break out the flip flops as soon as the snow is no longer on the ground. Sure my feet still freeze off in the mid march time...but I get to wear my sandals and thats all that matters!
As of this moment I have about 10 pairs of flip flops. I suppose it could be considered an addiction...
