Packing

Well, I take off on Friday and I've made up my mind...packing is officially the devil. I hate it with a passion. It is especially difficult this time, because after dropping me off in Calgary, mom and dad are going onto Oliver where dad is going to need his golf clubs and all of their own luggage. And because the van is such a gas guzzler...we have to squeeze into the car. I'm not totally sure how its going to happen...I am anything but a light packer. We'll see.

Its hard to believe time has gone so fast and its actually time to move! I'm excited for something new, sad to leave everything and everyone back home, and slightly nervous all at the same time. I mean, the U of C itselt is only 27 times larger than my home town....but whats to worry about right?....right?....

None the less...it will be one heck of an adventure for this small town prairie girl! I'll let you know how the move goes!

Grrr.

So I dont know what kind of things tick you off, but I definatley have a new favorite on my list of hated things. Besides people coming in at closing time to eat food at the restaraunt, being put on call waiting by morons on the phone, or having a long awaited and looked forward to DVD skip and crap out on you....I also hate when Hotmail Staff sends me e-mails. I sign onto msn, thinking that I have an exciting e-mail waiting for me...I almost pea my pants with anticipation...and its just mass e-mail sent from some office of arrogant pricks who dont give a damn who I am. And...to top it all off...you can't block Hotmail...or you simply can't have an account through them...so there really is no solution to this...
ah well...life must go on...

Special K!

So last wednesday was a special day. Thats right everyone, our very own Kirby Wagner turned 22 years old! Almost a grown up that we can take seriously...but not quite. We decided to spend the night at Grenfell Regional Park (not to be confused with GPR right Jenn!) which just happens to be the crappiest camp grounds you will ever see. However we found the nicest spot (which consitsted of about 3 trees) and set up camp. It was a real cute little spot and a bunch of us girls made it home for one night. We roasted weiners, made s'mores, listened to girly tunes and had a great time.

Happy Birthday Kirb!
